Long lost un-classic album from the elusive Grigori, Trained Octopus. Envisioning a brave new terrain of "bargain pop" to slip messages of revolt to the never-materialized masses, Grigori, Trained Octopus and Peanut Butter Jones founded Faith Cannon Records in 2004. Grigori's debut and only album, "I Have No Terror Leanings," was released as a limited-edition CDR the next year and quickly fell into a well-deserved obscurity. Its eleven distorted doom pop tunes document America's descent into Bushian soft-authoritarianism, employing cheap keyboards, children's toys, tape manipulation, and detuned guitars to surround stories of terror, repression, and submission. A mustn't-have for all fans of classic FC plink pop and those with a high tolerance for terrible vocals.
